The opening of Jakarta Fashion Week (JFW) 10/09 will be held on Saturday 14 November 2009, at Pacific Place. For you fashion lovers must have been curious about fashion trends in 2010, and it can be seen through JFW. At JFW this time you can enjoy the works of some 60 talented designers Indonesia.Not only that which makes JFW is different from the previous meeting of two cultures of India and Indonesia. Priyo Oktaviano and Sebastian Gunawan will hold a work clothing made of Indian fabric with a touch of Indonesia. Meanwhile, two Indian designers, Tarun Tahiliani and Malini Ramani will feature weaving and batik course with a touch of India.
"With the collaboration of two cultures, Indonesian and Indian fashion is expected to progressively expand in the international world," said Yudha Kartohadiprojo, Directors Femina when found in a press conference in Jakarta Fashion Week at Pacific Place, Jakarta, 11 November 2009.
JFW opening will be conducted by the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Fauzi Bowo at 10:00 am. Then, that night at 19:00 you can see a demonstration entitled "A Tale Of Two Cultures". The second day, November 15, 2009, a series of events pretty solid, the work of Lenny Agustin, Rebbecca Ing, Hengki K., and many other designers will be held from 14:00 am until 20:30 pm.
On 16 November, you can enjoy the works of Poppy Dharsono, Anne Avantie, Moses W., and several other designers from 13.00 am until 20:30 pm.
